The business was founded in 1994 by Allan Jones and John Hoey, who had previously worked together at the local Holden Dealership. In 2004, John decided to pursue a different career path and Brett Saunders, who had begun his apprenticeship at Innisfail Holden in 1994, joined the team. Brett bought John's share in the business in 2005 and became a partner, alongside Allan.

The team at Innisfail Pro Motors includes two trade-qualified mechanics, Thomas Heard and Rodney Smith, as well as two apprentices, Zain McEwan and Ben Gerritsen. The business takes great pride in training young people and contributing to the industry.
